Divining A New Moon
Would you like to join a community of women who gather monthly in ritual under the moon?
The Vision
Calling forth a New Moon is to call forth new potentials in ourselves and the world, calling a new tide and rhythm to our being where the mechanical, patriarchal and materialistic ways are laid to rest, and the sacred, deeply feminine, holistic ways return to their fullness.
New Moon Divination
We gather online each month on the evening of the new moon, creating sacred space together. Each participant is invited to speak from the heart and soul — not to seek advice, but to share what is most pressing on their souols these days, so the Ancestors and Spirits can witness, guide, and tend what needs attention.
From this sharing, Laura will divine to receive messages through the West African traditions of bone, stone, and cowrie shell divination. These messages reveal what the Other World calls for — the rituals, guidance, and medicine needed to bring healing, resolution, and restoration to the matters weighing on our souls.
Full Moon Ritual
The prescribed rituals are then to be carried out on the Full Moon of that month, either on your own or in community. You are encouraged to gather your own circle of women to carry out the rituals. Support and guidance on facilitating full moon circles will be provided by Laura, and the circle of Witches she gathers with. On occasion we will open our circle to a larger community of participation and co-creation. Ase.
